People: User Types

Introduction

This walks you through the process of the People section and managing users by types.

Accessing User Management

  1. Log in to the Fluid Admin portal.
  2. Select People under We-commerce.
  3. Select which type of user you want to manage.

Managing Users by Type

Reps

The Reps dashboard displays key information for each Rep:

  • ID: This is the Reps Share Guid used for tracking and attribution.
  • Name: This is the Reps First and Last name.
  • Email: This is the Reps email address.
  • Status: This is the Reps status of Active or Inactive.
  • Created: This is the date the Rep was created. 

Clicking into a Rep will open their Rep details page and give you more information about their account such as: 

  • Preview of their MySite
  • External ID as well as Share Guid
  • Quick Links to their MySite
  • Sponsor Information
  • MFA Logs

On the top of the page, you have options to:

  • View Customer Page: This will open their customer page and show their order history, subscription history, payment information and more.
  • Actions: Allows you to make the Rep Inactive or check their MFA Logs.
  • Edit: Allows you to edit the Reps information.

Admins

The Admins dashboard displays key information for each Admin:

  • ID: This is the Admins Fluid ID
  • Name: This is the Admins First and Last name.
  • Email: This is the Admins email address.
  • Status: This is the Admins status of Active or Inactive.
  • Created: This is the date the Admin was created. 

Clicking into an Admin will open their Admin details page and give you more information about their account and allow you to Edit the Admins details in the top right corner.

Customers

The Customers dashboard displays key metrics across the top, as well as information on every customer you have in the system. 

  • ID: This is the Customers Fluid ID.
  • Name: This is the Customers First and Last name.
  • Country: This is the Customers Country.
  • Active Subscriptions: This is the amount of Active Subscriptions the Customer has.
  • Active Subscriptions: This is the amount of Subscriptions the Customer has set to Inactive.
  • Total Orders: This is the total number of orders placed by the Customer.
  • Total Spent: This is the total dollar amount the Customer has spent. 

Clicking into a Customer will open their Customer details page and give you more information about their account such as: 

  • Recent Orders
  • Subscriptions
  • Sponsor
  • Contact Details

On the top of the page, you have options to:

  • Merge Customer: This allows you to merge two customer accounts.
  • Request Customer Data: This allows you to request data from the customer.
  • Delete Customer: This allows you to delete a customer.
  • Create Order: This allows you to create an order for the customer. 

Contacts

The Contacts dashboard displays contacts such as Leads and Customers. The main page shows:

  • ID: This is the Contacts Fluid ID.
  • Name: This is the Customers First and Last name or Email, depending on what they entered.
  • Email: This is the Customers Email they entered.
  • Phone: This is the Customer's Phone number they entered.
  • Status: This shows the status of the Contact.
  • Date Created: This shows you the date the Contact was created.
  • Engagement: This shows the Contacts engagement. 

Clicking into a Contact will open their Contact details page and give you more information about their account such as: 

  • Contact Details: Shows the Contacts details.
  • Engagement: Shows Email engagement and Purchase History by number of purchases and total spent.
  • Activity: This shows the Activity log of the customer. 

Best Practices

Security

  • Regularly review admin access
  • Implement strong password policies
  • Monitor unusual activity
  • Remove access for departed users promptly

User Management

  • Keep contact information current
  • Document role changes
  • Maintain accurate status
  • Regular access reviews

Training

  • Provide system orientation
  • Document common procedures
  • Offer ongoing support
  • Update training materials
