Admin: Creating and Managing Contacts

Overview

The Contacts section in your admin portal serves as your central platform for managing leads and customer relationships. Whether contacts come through your website's chat, lead forms, or manual entry, this powerful tool helps you organize, track, and distribute leads effectively.

Login to Admin Portal

  1. Visit: https://admin.fluid.app/
  2. Enter your email address associated with your account.
  3. Retrieve the 6 digit code sent to your email and enter it.
  4. You are now in your company's Fluid Admin portal.

Accessing Contacts Management

  1. In the navigation sidebar under WeCommerce, select the People dropdown.
  2. Select "Contacts" from the submenu.

Contact Dashboard

Key Information Display

The Contacts dashboard displays essential information for each contact, including their ID, name, email, phone, status, date created and engagement.

Status Filtering

Filter your contact view using the status tabs at the top:

  • All: View complete contact list.
  • Leads: Recently added contacts from a lead capture form or chat.
  • Customers: Customers who have purchased without attribution.

Adding New Contacts

Manual Contact Creation

  1. Click the + button in the top right corner.
  2. Fill out the contact information form with details.
  3. Click Save to create the contact.

Automated Contact Creation

Contacts are automatically created when leads come through:

  • Website chat
  • Lead capture forms
  • Landing pages
  • Share page interactions

Automatically created contacts will be viewable on the Contacts landing page.

Best Practices

  • Maintain accurate contact information
  • Follow up with new leads promptly
  • Monitor assignment rule effectiveness
  • Update contact notes after interactions

Use the status filters to prioritize your follow-up activities and ensure no leads slip through the cracks.
