Introduction
The Messaging section in the Admin portal serves as your central communication hub, facilitating efficient interaction with your field through multiple channels. Our tool allows you to manage various forms of communication, from direct messages to broadcast announcements.
Getting Started
Once logged into your Admin Portal, on your left hand navigation, click Messaging under the Main section to open your messaging portal.
Key Components
Our Messaging system consists of four sections, each designed to handle a different aspect of your communication needs. Understanding these components can help you choose the right communication method for your needs.
- Emails
- Public Channels
- Broadcast Channels
- Direct Messages
Emails
- Monitor and manage incoming conversations from customers and prospects via email.
- Access chat interactions initiated through your corporate website.
- View conversation history and respond to inquiries.
Channels
- Channels set up by corporate. These options include:
- Public Channels: This allows a public channel to be created, including filters by country and language.
- Public Channels give both corporate and users the ability to communicate within the channel.
- Public Channels: This allows a public channel to be created, including filters by country and language.
- Broadcast Channels: This allows a channel to be created that is fully managed by corporate, including filters by country and language.
- Broadcast channels give corporate the ability to send messages, while users have read-only access.
- Team Channels: This allows a channel to be created and users added that are a part of a unique team or downline.
Direct Messages
- Our Direct Message feature gives corporate the ability to send messages directly to individual users and have a conversation back and forth.
Creating a New Message or Channel
- Click "New" in the bottom left corner
- In the pop-up, choose from three options:
- Message: Enter the channel name or user name and create your message.
- SMS/Email: Search for the recipient and create your message.
- Channel: Create a new Channel here.
Scheduling a Message
- When sending a message to a Channel or User, you have the ability to schedule that message for a later time. To schedule a message, do the following:
- Create your message.
- In the bottom right corner of the message, select the drop down arrow next to the send icon which will open a slider allowing you to schedule a message.
Best Practices
- Regularly monitor incoming communications.
- Maintain consistent response times.
- Use appropriate channel types based on communication needs.
- Leverage filters effectively for targeted messaging.
- Keep broadcast channels focused on essential announcements.
